I’m a fan of onions and this is the way I prefer them…
Ingredients (4 people):
300 gr. Of small peeled white onions (to better peel, put them into boiling water for one minute)
4 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
Water
3 tablespoons sugar
A pinch of salt
Black pepper corns
Extra virgin olive oil
In a frying pan with oil, put the onions, balsamic vinegar and pepper beans and cover with water. Cook it until the liquid is almost completely absorbed, add sugar and cook for another few minutes to glaze the onions.
