Mom is always THE MOTHER and mine, Emiliana, has turned 90 years and we (here’s the kitchen staff!) 
celebrated all together like this:

Risotto with Taleggio cheese and orange
Gnocchi with turnip tops
knuckle of pork
shallots with balsamic vinegar
Emiliana’s birthday cake - sponge cake stuffed with cream and cream
amaretto parfait
orange and dark chocolate cake

If friends are “Friends”, their birthday should be a real celebration … .. that’s why with the magic Chiaretta we settled this menu:
from the land:
figs in bacon crust, vegetable strudel with cheeses’ fondue , zucchini carpaccio with pink pepper, fig leaves stuffed,
Taleggio cheese and eggplants lasagne, chicken colorful
from the sea
octopus salami with lemon sauce, terrine of zucchini and shrimp, fried prawn skewers with sweet corn breadcrumb and pine nuts served avocados’ sauce with wild fennel, chili sauce, lasagne with pesto and shrimps
